Services

OMeR services will be organized in three axes: data, tools and training. The global service policy will be defined on the ones already available in OMeR constitutive e-Resources to allow a relevant support and an efficient collaborative framework:

  • Data: Development and deployment of data warehouses and web portals in order to favor metabolomics data integration, valorization and interoperability with spectral libraries (PeakForest) and metabolic networks (MetExplore). Data management relies on expertise available in existing infrastructures (e.g. AgroDataRing) for storage, security and sharing.
  • Tools: ecosystem of computational solutions covering the entire metabolomics data analysis pipeline from raw data to biochemical interpretation and visualization (Workflow4Metabolomics and MetExplore). OMeR will be publicly available, accessible through web interfaces, or programmatically (micro-services, API...) to reach both bioinformatics and metabolomics communities.
  • Training: OMeR will propose trainings for the various services strongly relying on existing trainings (e.g. Workflow4Experimenters). OMeR will also deploy several e-training solutions such as MOOC and open courses. This project already in constructions in collaboration with IFB, MetaboHub and the French-Speaking Metabolomics and Fluxomics Network (RFMF). All these trainings are associated with a pricing policy taking into account the attendees employers (private, academic, students).
